Heather’s Strawberry-Stuffed French Toast

My sister-in-law made this french toast for us one morning while we were visiting her and my brother in Colorado, and again when we all had Christmas at mom and dad’s. She stuffed slices of Hawaiian bread with warm strawberry compote, dipped the bread slices in an egg mixture, and sautéed them until golden. What a wonderful treat in the morning!
