These easy, festive puff pastry bundles of brie and cranberry sauce (or raspberry jam, or fig preserves) are delightful party appetizers.
Recipe from Simply Delicious.
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 4 oz. Brie cheese, cut into 12 cubes
- 1 roll frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
Preheat the oven to 350º. Spray a 12-serving muffin pan with cooking spray.
Cut the pastry into 12 equal squares. On a floured surface, roll the squares out to approximately 1/4-inch thickness.
Press each square into one of the muffin tin cups. Place 1 tsp. of cranberry sauce and a cube of Brie onto each piece of pastry. Gently gather the corners and pinch together. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before carefully removing from the pan. Serve warm.
